Know where every cheque is. Today.

Every post-dated cheque, from the moment it's expected to the moment it clears, or bounces. One register, one custody trail, and the next step already waiting.

Without PropertyHive

Sound familiar?

The register lives in Excel

One spreadsheet per building, a safe full of envelopes, and no one sure which version is right.

Deposits get missed

A cheque dated the 1st sits in the safe until the 9th because nobody pulled the list.

Bounces go quiet

A bounced cheque turns into an email thread, then a phone call, then nothing.

How it works

PDC Desk, step by step.

01

Log every cheque against the lease

Cheques are created from the lease payment schedule, or scanned and read by OCR, then logged as expected or in custody with their bank, amount and date.

02

Deposit in batches, by bank

Deposit runs gather every cheque due, grouped by bank. Mark them deposited in one action and watch them wait for clearance.

03

Clear it, and the receipt posts itself

Clearing a cheque creates the receipt against the tenant's oldest open invoice, ready for your ledger.

Bounced? Replace, re-present or go legal

Record the bounce reason and choose the route. The legal route opens a rent recovery case with a demand letter and a legal hold, and the tenant gets first, second and final notices.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot.

Can we import our existing cheque register?

Yes. Cheques import from a structured Excel workbook along with tenants and leases, and are matched to the right lease and payment line.

What happens when a cheque bounces?

You record the bounce reason and choose to replace it, re-present it or go legal. The tenant receives first, second and final notices, and the legal route opens a rent recovery case with a demand letter.

Does it post to our accounting system?

Cleared cheques create receipts in PropertyHive. Posting to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other ERPs is integration-ready and switched on during onboarding.
